Nearly 20 years ago Carl W. Newell designed his first light weight super
strong replacement parts for popular offshore reels. Since then, his ambition has been to
design and manufacture a series of offshore reels that defy comparison. To meet this goal
he spent thousands of hours of designing, prototyping, lab testing and personal field
testing. His obsession for excellence coupled with the input of the Southern California
Fishing Fleet produced this new reel.
All Newell Reels are made in Glendale, California from
lightweight graphite composite resin and stainless steel making them the lightest, most
corrosion and electrolysis free reels manufactured. All Newell Reels carry a 5
Year Limited Warranty.
